Description

The Warehouse Associate is a material handler primarily responsible for manual case picking and order fulfillment without using material handling equipment. Activities may include sorting, lumping, kitting, assembly, case picking, loading, and unloading. No forklift experience is required.

Position Responsibilities

1. Manual order fulfillment, including case or each picking, kitting, lumping, value-added services, and e-commerce order fulfillment.
2. Potentially pick to AMR (automated mobile robot) devices.
3. Require direct supervision.
4. Perform visual quality checks for correct product, damage, proper quantity, and customer shipping requirements.
5. Ensure specific customer packaging requirements are met to avoid penalties.
6. Communicate product defects or missing inventory to management.
7. Follow specific work instructions and guidelines.
8. Complete daily work assignments safely and efficiently.
9. Perform duties safely and productively.
10. Assist with physical inventories.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications And Requirements

• Ability to push and pull a fully loaded pallet jack or cart over 50 pounds.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Ability to learn warehouse management systems.
• Follow oral and written instructions, accept coaching, and communicate respectfully.
• Adhere to OSHA safety requirements.
• Stand for 8-12 hours in a warehouse environment.
• Log product defects or missing inventory properly.
• Promote a positive team environment.
• At least 6 months of general work experience.
