Warehouse Associate II

Job Description :

The Warehouse Associate II is primarily responsible for working in our Receiving department, including picking, pulling, receiving, labeling, and stocking purchase orders within the specified time frame. The Warehouse Associate II handles products safely and in accordance with best practices to maintain product quality.

Essential Responsibilities :

1. Use power equipment (e.g., forklift) to unload deliveries, organize, and store received items in appropriate areas.
2. Assist drivers with delivery and unloading of merchandise within apartment/building complexes, as directed by customers.
3. Work safely, using proper lifting techniques, maintaining safety zones around equipment, and warning others of moving equipment.
4. Efficiently and accurately receive purchase orders, checking for damages and comparing with invoices or packaging lists.
5. Pull products from warehouse shelves based on item number, size, color, and quantity requirements.
6. Pack and stage completed purchase orders for delivery.
7. Verify accuracy of items picked and staged for delivery.
8. Complete receiving tasks efficiently to meet or exceed performance expectations.
9. Perform cross-functional tasks such as picking, pulling, labeling, shipping, and assisting with deliveries as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications :

Required –

1. At least 6 months of distribution center or warehouse experience.
2. Ability to lift 40 pounds minimally; up to 70 pounds with or without accommodation.
3. Strong safety awareness and compliance record.
4. Reliable and consistent on-the-job performance.
5. Ability to work independently or in a team.
6. Willingness to be trained in operating power equipment.

Preferred –

1. High School diploma or GED.
2. Over 1 year of warehouse or distribution center experience.
3. Experience operating power equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, or yard trucks.
4. Experience with detail-oriented tasks in a fast-paced environment.
5. Ability to use spatial reasoning for product positioning.
6. Basic math, reading comprehension, and computer skills.
