Job summary

Kelly Services is currently seeking Warehouse Associates for one of our top clients in Suwanee, GA. Pay Rate: $14.50 per Hour. Schedule: 5pm - Finish (2AM). Duration: 2-3 months.

Anticipated Start Date: 02/12/2017 to 03/31/2017. You will perform warehouse duties including receiving, storage, picking, and ensuring accurate, efficient order fulfillment. As a Warehouse Associate, you will also handle data entry for returns, assist with inventory procedures, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read English and understand product descriptions and shelf labels.
• Must have basic mathematical skills.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities; detail oriented.
• Able to follow detailed instructions with good judgment.
• Basic computer knowledge preferred.
• Ability to operate power equipment safely (reach trucks, etc.).
• Team player with good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify merchandise against receiving documents and note discrepancies.
• Stock shelves and rotate stock to keep items accessible.
• Prepare orders for shipment by pulling items into totes.
• Process returns with data entry and restock as needed.
• Perform daily discrepancy counts and assist with inventory.
• Maintain a clean work area and follow safety rules.
• Overtime and physical inventory participation as required.

Kelly Services is currently seeking a few Warehouse Associates for one of our top clients in Suwanee, GA.
Pay Rate: $14.50 per Hour

As a Warehouse Associate placed with Kelly Services, you will be responsible for performing a variety of warehouse-related duties such as receiving and storage of goods, preparing orders for shipment by picking items from shelves and placing them in totes, and ensuring that orders are filled accurately and efficiently, continually striving for improved customer satisfaction.

JOB DUTIES

• Verifies merchandise received against receiving documents, notes and reports discrepancies and any obvious damages.
• Stocks shelves with various types of merchandise.
• Rotates stock so that newly-received items can be used last.
• Prepares orders for shipment by pulling items from shelves and placing them in totes to be packed and sent to customers.
• Processes and performs data entry of returns; also returns merchandise to proper shelf in the warehouse.
• Performs daily counting and researching of discrepancies.
• Assists with inventory procedures as requested.
• Maintains a clean work area to help ensure that merchandise remains clean and to help prevent work related injuries.
• Complies with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules and DEA regulations.
• Must be able to work overtime when necessary and participate in physical inventory

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma / GED
• Ability to read and understand the English language for the purpose of comparing and reading product descriptions, names and shelf labels.
• Must possess basic mathematical skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with others. Strong organizational skills; detail oriented.
• Ability to use good judgment in order to carry out detailed instructions.
• Basic computer knowledge preferred.
• Ability to operate power equipment at high levels 20-40 such as reach trucks, picker machines, etc
• Must be a team player and demonstrate effective communication and problem solving skills
