Job summary

Doherty Staffing Solutions in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations, accurately filling orders, operating equipment, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace. This temp role offers hands-on duties and opportunities to join a growing distribution team.

You will pull and prepare products, label and stage orders, operate forklifts safely, and use RF scanners to track inventory.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of warehouse, delivery, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Forklift experience and safety training preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse technology systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pull and prepare products to fulfill customer orders.
• Pack, label, and stage completed orders for shipment and delivery.
• Operate gas and electric forklifts, riders, and warehouse equipment safely.
• Cut and prepare wire and pipe materials to required specifications using production equipment.
• Load delivery trucks and assist with shipping and receiving activities.
• Use computerized systems and RF scanners to locate, track, and manage inventory.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
