Job summary

Schneider Electric in Seneca, SC is seeking a Parts Puller/Kitter & Waterspider to supply production lines with complete materials, pulling items from BOMs and pick lists to ensure on-time assembly.

You will operate material handling equipment, use SAP and a scanner for data entry, and participate in 5S housekeeping while supporting multiple stations and OTJ training.

Job description

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under general supervision the Parts Puller/Kitter & Waterspider ensures production teams receive complete and accurate materials on time by pulling parts from inventory according to pick lists and bills of materials (BOM). This role supports on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and efficient workflow across the manufacturing floor

Shift: 1st - 6a-2:30p M-F with daily and weekend overtime as needed

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:
  • Replenish production lines with required materials to maintain consistent stock throughout the shift.
  • Operate tugger and other material handling equipment as needed.
  • Utilize scanner and laptop to track inventory, confirm material movements, etc
  • Locate and pull required materials and parts based on work orders, BOMs, and pick lists.
  • Assemble and stage kits for production lines, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Inspect parts for defects and verify quantities before kitting.
  • Participate in general housekeeping and 5S activities to maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Perform general preventative maintenance (PM) tasks on equipment as needed.
  • Cross-train and rotate through various stations within the department to provide support.
  • Conduct on-the-job training (OTJ) for newly hired or transferred employees.
  • Report material shortages, discrepancies, and equipment issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Participate in meetings to resolve production issues and coordinate with other shifts and support groups.
  • Other duties as assigned.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Abilities:
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes (preferred but not required).
  • Experience in material handling and inventory control (beneficial but not required).
  • Ability to operate tugger and other material handling equipment (valid Driver’s License required).
  • Proficiency in using computer and scanner
  • Comfortable using digital tools such as tablets and computers for data entry and communication.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to safely lift up to 22 lbs. unaccompanied and able to lift up to 80 lbs. with partner. Bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching throughout shift. Repetitive lifting motions throughout shift.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is $14.65 to $21.95 per hour. In addition, this position is eligible for overtime pay and may also include premium pay or differentials, depending on location. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
