Job summary

Schneider Electric in Cedar Rapids, IA is hiring a Production Operator to set up, operate, and monitor equipment for powdered metal contacts.

Join our production team as a Production Operator and play a key role in delivering quality products every day. This is a hands‑on opportunity where your attention to detail and teamwork will make a real impact in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

What will you do?

Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment used in the manufacturing of powdered metal contacts.

  • Follow work instructions and operate mixing equipment
  • Setup production furnaces to run at specific settings
  • Monitor press equipment and perform adjustments as needed to maintain quality
  • Perform first piece inspection using gauges and operate SPC software
  • Perform changeovers on various equipment
  • Use SAP software to complete order transactions
  • Maintain production records and documentation
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment (5S)
What qualifications will make you successful?

For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $31.23 - $31.87 per hour. In addition, this position is eligible for overtime pay and may also include premium pay or differentials, depending on location.
