Job summary

Corvette-Central is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support receiving, packing, labeling, and shipping processes. You will use handheld scanners and pallet jacks, pick parts for customer orders, and manage inventory through cycle counts.

This full-time role requires reliability and teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Hours typically run during standard warehouse operating times; overtime may be required seasonally.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with shipping software and carrier services (UPS/FedEx).

Responsibilities

  • Receive and check incoming items against POs and Corvette Central site.
  • Prepare and pack orders, label shipments, and box for shipping.
  • Operate handheld scanners and pallet jacks for picking and movement.
  • Perform cycle counts and support inventory control.
  • Back up shipping as needed and maintain clean work area.

Job description

Job Summary

This is a full-time non-exempt position. Hours of work are 7:45 A.M. – 4:30 P.M. with a 45 minute lunch break. Warehouse employees are expected to be available to work a 40 hour week during the hours our warehouse is open. Shifts may vary depending on business needs. Mandatory seasonal overtime will be required.

Reports To: Assistant Ops/Warehouse Manager

Essential Functions
  • Receiving in items, unpacking and checking PO against the Corvette Central website
  • Writing up overages, shortages and returns to vendor and give to Team Leader
  • Checking in UPS deliveries
  • Hot picking parts
  • Processing returns to vendor
  • Pulling pieces and making in-house kits
  • Accurately Picking Orders for Customers
  • Matching special order parts to designated orders
  • Organizing parts on shelves
  • Putting together boxes for picking
  • Using a handheld scanner to track parts picked
  • Picking and putting away parts using the carousel
  • Cycle counting for inventory management and control
  • Verifying product adjustments with additional cycle counting
  • Backing up the shipping department as needed
  • Boxing/Packaging and label items/orders for shipping
  • Putting parts away on shelves
  • Invoicing outgoing customer orders
  • Auditing orders for proper labeling, parts, and number of items
  • Loading the UPS trailer
  • Operating hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas.
  • Operating the stretch wrap banders.
  • Performing all computer functions necessary for the fulfillment and shipping process
  • Maintaining the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and following prescribed safety regulations.

Requirements
Key skills and competencies of the position include, but are not limited to:
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and NAV ERP system
  • Basic knowledge of Math
  • Previous experience with shipping software, UPS/FedEx or similar
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to maintain grace under pressure and contribute to a positive work environment
The successful candidate’s qualifications will include:
  • Ability to use pallet jacks, RF or barcode scanners and climb ladders
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently
  • Employees will be responsible for reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, scanning, placing materials, as well as physical bending, twisting, kneeling and etc. in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Seeing to read and review material for accuracy.
  • Hearing and speaking to exchange information with co-workers
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
