Warehouse associates at Famous Supply are responsible for warehouse tasks and overseeing the Will Call Counter. Warehouse tasks include:

1. Unloading trucks
2. Receiving material
3. Put-away of material
4. Picking customer orders
5. Staging customer orders for delivery
6. Loading customer delivery trucks

Our Express Will Call Counter is where customers pick up pre-ordered items. We guarantee that if a customer calls in an order, it will be ready for pickup in less than 30 minutes. Will Call associates are responsible for ensuring orders are fulfilled and ready on time.

Note: Famous Supply warehouse associates handle large products such as water heaters, furnaces, and showers.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Handling products carefully to prevent damage
• Paying attention to detail to ensure warehouse tasks are completed accurately
• Keeping the warehouse clean, neat, and organized
• Urgently picking Will Call orders to meet customer commitments
• Ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately
• Servicing customers at the Will Call counter promptly
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the Will Call area

Required Experience and Skills

• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for most of an 8-hour shift
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience and Skills

• Forklift experience
• Building industry experience and product knowledge
• Warehouse experience
• Experience using RF scanners
