Job summary

Labcorp in Raritan, NJ is seeking a Warehouse Associate I to join our team. You will fulfill customer orders for medical lab supplies, load and unload shipments, and maintain accurate inventory in our systems.

This role schedules Mon-Fri 8:00am–4:30pm, on-site work, and requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Basic computer skills and reliable transportation are helpful; training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year or more experience in a warehouse or picking/packing orders.
• 1 year or more experience with warehouse equipment such as forklift, cherry picker, and pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Place orders for supplies from vendors via computer and telephone.
• Load and unload supplies from trucks and verify packing slips.
• Receive and process stock into inventory management system.
• Process orders from client offices and patient service centers via phone, fax and email.
• Print requisition forms and barcode labels for internal and external clients.
• Pack orders for shipment via Fed Ex & UPS.
• Resolve all customer concerns efficiently and timely.
• Maintain inventory control according to company standards.
• Participate in scheduled cycle counts and full physical inventory.
• Deliver supplies to local branches, clients and patient service centers when needed.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Job Responsibilities

• Pack orders for shipment via various shipping methods such as Fed Ex & UPS
• Resolve all customer concerns efficiently and timely
• Maintain inventory control according to company standards
• Participate in scheduled cycle counts and full physical inventory
• Deliver supplies to local branches, clients and patient service centers when needed

Minimum Qualifications

• No minimum education or experience

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• 1 year or more experience in a warehouse or picking and packing orders
• 1 year or more experience with warehouse equipment such as a forklift, cherry picker, and pallet jack

Additional Job Standards

• Knowledge of inventory control and cycle counts
• Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

This position will be responsible for fulfilling customer orders of medical lab supplies and products.

Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
