Job summary

Conklin Metal Industries’ Nashville branch is hiring a Warehouse Associate to join a team focused on efficient inbound and outbound operations. You will verify shipments, stage and load products, and manage stock while ensuring safety and accuracy on every task.

Ideal candidates have forklift experience, at least two years in a fast-paced warehouse, and a commitment to quality. Position is full-time with a Monday–Friday schedule and benefits after 60 days.

Qualifications

• Two years of warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on forklift experience and ability to operate safely daily.
• Pay close attention to shipping/receiving accuracy.
• Inventory-control experience preferred.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and maintain high physical activity.
• Comfortable working in variable temperatures and flexible schedule.
• Safety-focused and follows established procedures.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming shipments against invoices, checking for accuracy and product condition.
• Pull, stage, pack, and load outgoing deliveries and branch transfers without damaging product.
• Load and secure trucks in accordance with DOT and Conklin standards.
• Organize and maintain stock on shelving, bins, and overhangs according to company standards.
• Monitor inventory and report discrepancies to management.
• Operate a forklift safely as a regular part of your daily work.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time.
