Chick-fil-A Supply in Olathe, KS is hiring a Warehouse Team Member to unload, pick and load product at our Kansas City Distribution Center. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks while keeping safety and efficiency at the forefront.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking) to safely follow verbal instructions, complete documentation and paperwork, and accurately interpret labels, pick lists, scanner prompts, signage, and company communications
• Ability to lift up to 65 pounds per case and move up to 2,000 pounds with mechanical assistance as needed

Responsibilities

• Unload, staging, picking and loading products.
• Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks and keep the warehouse clean and safe.
• Support communications and care with team members and stakeholders.

Schedule

• 4 Day Workweek (4X10 hour days)
• The schedule will be assigned according to business needs, and flexibility is needed during weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts every three months

Pay

$21.75 per hour

Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Associate, you are a key driver in the efficiency, organization, and cleanliness of the warehouse.

• Efficiency and Organization: You'll be on your feet, actively engaging with unloading, staging, picking and loading products.
• Safety First: Safely operating machinery like forklifts and pallet jacks and keeping our warehouse clean and safe.
• Communication and Care: Connecting with care with everyone you come in contact with.

Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)

• Extreme Temperature: Working in rotation through extreme temperatures–10F to 100F is required to keep our food safe!
• Heavy Weights: Reach, bend, and stoop while lifting up to 65 pounds per case during most of your shift. Occasionally you will use mechanical assistance to move up to 2,000 pounds.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking): to safely follow verbal instructions, complete documentation and paperwork, and accurately interpret labels, pick lists, scanner prompts, signage, and company communications

Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)

• Working in a warehouse and/or material handling is preferred but not required, and previous work in food distribution is a plus
