Job summary

Chick-fil-A Supply is hiring a Warehouse Team Member at the Selma, TX distribution center. You will unload, pick, and load products to keep Chick-fil-A restaurants stocked, with a focus on safety and efficiency. The role includes operating forklifts and pallet jacks, working in extreme temperatures, and contributing to a clean, organized warehouse.

Schedule features a 4-day, 10-hour workweek with some weekends and holidays. Starting pay is $21.25 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and PTO.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English to safely perform duties.
• Must be able to lift up to 65 pounds and move heavy weights with assistances up to 2,000 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Unload, stage, pick and load products to keep workflow smooth.

Schedule

Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 7 AM to 5:30PM until the work is done.

• 4 Day Workweek (4 10-hour days)
• The schedule will be assigned according to business needs, and flexibility is needed during weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Associate, you are a key driver in the efficiency, organization, and cleanliness of the warehouse.

• Efficiency and Organization: You’ll be on your feet, actively engaging with unloading, staging, picking and loading products.
• Safety First: Safely operating machinery like forklifts and pallet jacks and keeping our warehouse clean and safe.

Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)

• Extreme Temperature: Working in rotation through extreme temperatures (-10F to 100F) is required to keep our food safe!
• Heavy Weights: Reach, bend, and stoop while lifting up to 65 pounds per case during most of your shift. Occasionally you will use mechanical assistance to move up to 2,000 pounds.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to understand and communicate job-related information in English (reading, writing, and speaking) at the level reasonably necessary to safely and accurately perform the essential functions of the role, including, for example, understanding and safely following verbal instructions, completing documentation and work responsibilities, and accurately reading and interpreting company communications and policies like safety procedures, training, and tests.

Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)

• Working in a warehouse and/or material handling is preferred but not required, and previous work in food distribution is a plus
