Job summary

Eclipse Advantage is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the third shift. You will unload freight, sort and label items, and operate material handling equipment. You will scan items with RF technology, prepare packing lists, and maintain a safe, clean workspace.

Requirements include 6 months of warehouse experience (training offered), ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and readiness for overtime during peak seasons. Health and retirement benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months warehouse experience preferred, willing to train.
• Ability to read, count and use RF Scanner technology.
• Stand/walk 8–10 hours, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Certified equipment operation preferable (electric pallet jack).
• Reliable, punctual attendance with safety shoes required.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Unload and break down freight from trucks and containers.
• Sort and organize freight for efficient processing.
• Operate warehouse equipment as per procedures.
• Sort, repack and label items; scan and verify via RF.
• Maintain clean, hazard-free work area and select usable pallets.
• Meet productivity goals; overtime/weekends may be required.

Job Description:

• Unloads and breaks down freight (eg. trucks, trailers, rail cars, etc)
• Sorts and organizes freight
• Operate various types of material handling equipment
• Sort, repack, and label freight
• Identify unusable pallets
• Basic ability to read, count and use RF Scanner technology (training provided)
• Remove items from sorting bins, scan and place onto conveyer belt
• Remove items from packing bins, scan items using RF Scanner for accuracy, produce packing list and bag items
• Operate warehouse machinery in accordance with customer standard operating procedures. (eg. bailers, trash compactors, shrink wrappers, etc.)
• Maintains work area in a clean and hazard free condition

Pay Range: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Pay Scale: Based on productivity

Shift:

Third Shift: Monday to Sunday, 11:00 PM - Finish

Job Requirements:

• 6 months warehouse experience (preferred but willing to train)
• Work in a physically demanding warehouse environment - continuously lifting and moving up to 50lbs
• Warehouse material handling equipment certification preferred (ie electric pallet jack)
• Meet fast-paced productivity goals and standards
• Excellent customer service required
• Overtime/Weekends will be required during peak/seasonal volumes
• Ability to work in various climate conditions (potentially including cooler/freezers)
• Reliable transportation with the ability to arrive on time
• Standing/climbing 8 to 10 hours per day
• Effective communication skills
• Safety shoes are required
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Other duties as assigned
