Job summary

Techlink Systems Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate for an onsite role in North Chicago, IL. You will count, sort, and record heavy stock, while supporting dock operations, order picking, and packing. The position requires 2+ years of warehouse experience and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Strong attention to detail, reliability, and safety focus are essential in a loud, temperature-variable environment. Steel-toe shoes are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Count, sort, and record large, heavy-weight stock.
• Perform warehouse operations on Receiving dock; pick, pack orders and assist with dock processing.

Job description

Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Location (On-site, Remote, or Hybrid?): North Chicago, IL (onsite)
Contract Duration: 1 year
Work Hours: 4-day 10hr shifts, 8am-6:30pm / 5-day 10am -6:30pm

Description:
This position is Non-Exempt.
Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half.
Will be performing warehouse job duties such as counting, sorting, and recording of large, heavy-weight stock. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. 2+ year previous experience. Performs warehouse operations on the Receiving dock, picks orders, packs order and/or helps with dock processing.

Warehouse Associate: Exposure to working in a quality and controlled material environment.

Experience:

• Strong Work history 2+ years in previous roles.
• Forklift Certification/ Experience a plus - Cherry pickers - Order pickers - Pacer/Dock stocker - Turret Trucks (working in heights) Standup forklift

Preferred Experience: Distribution experience a plus; 3PL experience a plus

Key Skills: Demonstrate attention to detail; Demonstrate reliability and initiative; Safety focused. Ability to work in hot and cold environments.
