Responsibilities

• Unload materials, tools, and equipment from vendor trucks and inspect shipments for quality standards.
• Stock and transfer materials to shelves, bins, racks, or pipe bundles per sequence.
• Mark materials with identifying information and transfer materials for shop modifications as needed.
• Assemble and package customer orders for shipment and prepare documentation for UPS, LTL, SH, or Air shipments.
• Pull orders for delivery and stock transfers, load onto trucks, or move to packing areas with forklifts or cranes.
• Scan or enter inventory data into the inventory database system.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and follow OSHA and customer safety policies.
• Perform other duties and projects to support warehouse operations.

What’s a typical day as Material Handler – Warehouse Associate? You’ll be:

• Unloading materials, tools, and equipment from vendor trucks and inspecting shipments for quality standards
• Stocking and transferring materials to appropriate shelves, bins, racks, or pipe bundles according to predetermined sequences
• Marking materials with correct identifying information and transferring materials for shop modifications as needed
• Assembling and packaging customer orders for shipment, preparing documentation for UPS, LTL, SH, or Air shipments
• Pulling orders for delivery and stock transfers, loading onto trucks, or moving to packing areas using forklifts, overhead cranes, or other heavy equipment
• Accurately scanning or entering inventory data into the inventory database system
• Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and adhering to OSHA and customer safety policies
• Performing other duties and projects as assigned to support warehouse operations
