Job summary

AFC Industries is a dynamic organization providing supply chain management solutions for fasteners and assembly components to OEMs and manufacturers. The warehouse team supports receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure timely deliveries.

We value teamwork, adherence to instructions, and safe operation of forklift equipment. This role requires physical stamina, 2+ years forklift experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Team player who can follow instructions.
• Forklift experience (2+ years) required.
• RF scanner experience is a plus.
• Shipping/receiving experience in a warehouse environment.
• Able to communicate effectively with team members.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming material from suppliers and verify paperwork.
• Stock shelves and pallet racks; locate and pull material for orders.
• Pack material for UPS or pallet shipments.
• Complete documentation and process shipments in the ERP system.
• Operate forklift/standup picker and RF scanner as needed; assist in loading.

What you'll be doing:

Our warehouse associates are responsible for:

• Receiving incoming material from suppliers
• Stocking shelves and pallet racks
• Locating and pulling material for customer orders
• Efficiently packing material in boxes for UPS or pallets for truck shipments
• Completing documentation, adhering to quality standards for all warehouse processes Completing customer deliveries, processing shipments in our ERP system and other tasks as assigned.
• Forkift/Standup picker, RF scanner, picking, receiving, and shipping experience a plus.

What you need:

• You will need to be a team player, take direction and strictly follow instructions
• Able to lift 50+ pounds, stand for 8 hours in a warehouse environment
• Shipping/Receiving experience in a warehouse environment.
• Computer skills and to be able to communication effectively.
• Must have 2+ years of forklift experience.
