Job summary

AFC Industries is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our Integrated Supply Delivery team in Machesney Park, IL. You will receive, pull, and ship materials, and deliver orders to customers with a company van.

You will assist with vendor-managed inventory, unload at customer sites, and maintain cleanliness in the warehouse and VMI areas. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and strong communication; prior route service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with route service preferred.
• Computer skills including navigating OS and Microsoft Outlook/Teams.

Responsibilities

• Receive materials and pull and ship orders for customers.
• Deliver to customers using a company van.
• Assist in unloading and paperwork for drop-off customers.
• Stock parts for vendor-managed customers and maintain VMI area; coordinate with AFC inside sales.
• Learn vending machine software and load products to fulfill demands.
• Assist with warehouse tasks: inventory management, cleanliness, assemble customer kits.

We are looking for someone to join our Warehouse Associate/Integrated Supply Delilivery team in the Machesney Park, IL and surrounding area.

What you will be doing:

• Responsible for receiving materials, pulling and shipping orders for customers
• Delivery to customers using a company van
• For drop off customers: assisting in unloading and completing required paperwork related to the orders.
• For vendor managed customers: put away parts in specified locations, scan order for the following delivery, maintain cleanliness of Vending and VMI area, communicate with customers and AFC inside sales team concerning program, completing required paperwork related to the orders (will be trained on sight at the customer facilities).
• Learn and work with vending machine software and loading product to fulfill demands.
• Assist with warehouse tasks: inventory management, maintaining clean and safe environment, assembling customer kits, and other assigned tasks.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you will need:

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Must have a Good Driving Record with Valid Driver’s License
• Good interpersonal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
• Previous route service experience is preferred.
• COMPUTER SKILLS (navigate through the Operating System), ability to communicate through Microsoft Outlook and Teams.
• Ability to self-direct when necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - 25.00 per hour (depending upon experience)

Work Hours: 7AM-3:30PM, Monday-Friday (flexibility required)
