Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Storeroom Attendant / Material Handler in Nashville, TN to join a team focused on safe, efficient warehousing operations. You’ll handle inbound/outbound processes, operate forklifts or pallet jacks (training provided), and support inventory accuracy in a clean, organized facility.

The role offers weekly pay, benefits from day one, paid training, PTO, a 401(k) with company match, and employee discounts. Flexibility to work across shifts is available as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a clean driving record and own vehicle with travel within area
• Strong technical aptitude including Outlook, Word, Excel, scanners and WMS data entry
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Able to work indoors and outdoors

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Follow contract performance measurement guidelines and maintain accuracy in picking/packing
• Handle paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
• Provide maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours
• Other duties as assigned

• Hourly Pay $17.65 per hour
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a clean driving record and a personal vehicle and travel within the area approximately 25 - 50 % of the day
• Strong technical aptitude which includes using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, scanners and enter orders into a WMS System
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Must be able to work both indoors and outside

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
