Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Eads, TN. You will perform warehouse tasks including loading, picking, packing, shipping, and forklift operation, while maintaining safety and accuracy in daily paperwork.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid forklift license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Expect 25–50% travel, with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; preferred forklift license.
• Clean driving record and a personal vehicle; travel within the area 25–50% of the day.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel; able to use scanners and enter orders into a WMS.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and work indoors and outdoors.
• 1+ year warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred; valid forklift license.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving and forklift operation.
• Support cycle counting and loading/unloading of trucks; ensure accuracy of day-to-day paperwork.
• Provide technical support for automated packing systems during production shifts.
• Maintain safety and quality standards; work independently with minimal supervision.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $16.50 per hour
• Schedule: First Shift Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
