Responsibilities

• Stock, store, label, pick/pack, and distribute materials and supplies.
• Validate delivery of materials and provide receipts.
• Move cylinders and VGLs at customer sites.
• Respond to customer complaints and deploy necessary resources.
• Adjust inventory levels for seasonal demands.
• Place and process orders through AirGas.com/SAP.
• Perform periodic inventory counts.
• Organize and control warehouse inventory.
• Review incoming and outgoing invoices.
• Drive to customer sites to service inventory.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, or other equipment safely.
• Follow safety and distribution policies.
• Perform housekeeping duties and other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Two years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid US Driver’s License required.
• Experience in gas, welding, safety supply, or chemical industry preferred.
• Forklift operation experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Additional Requirements

• Class B or higher CDL with HAZMAT endorsement and clean MVR.
• Ability to lift 25-75 lbs routinely and handle up to 1000 lbs liquid containers.
• Physical ability to perform bending, stooping, climbing, and other physical tasks.
• Ability to drive hazardous cargo up to 8 hours and work overtime if needed.
• Preferred: 2 years' warehouse or maintenance experience.
• Preferred: Background in relevant industries.
• Technical troubleshooting and servicing skills are a plus.
