Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Mississippi to perform order picking, packing, and shipment preparation. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, comfort with working at heights, and basic computer/POS familiarity.

The position includes cross-training across warehouse areas and potential certification to operate material handling equipment. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–1:30 PM (or completion of work).

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and handle heights regularly.
• Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Experience with computers or POS systems is a plus.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with material handling equipment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow established processes to fulfill orders, including picking, packing, and preparing shipments.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control to maintain a safe, clean workspace.
• Willingness to train and be certified to operate material handling equipment.
• Examples include cherry picker, forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider.

Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning. Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers. ***Qualifications**** Ability to lift up to 50 pounds* Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly* Ability to follow direction and change priorities* Good verbal and written communication skills* Experience working with technologies, like computers or point of sale systems, a plus* High School Diploma/GED preferred* Material handling equipment experience highly preferred***Responsibilities**** Follow established process to fulfill orders.
