Job description

The Barnes Group has an exciting and challenging new position for a Warehouse Associate in Maumee, OH. Barnes Group offers a competitive wage, 13 paid holidays (pro-rated), 1st shift only: 6:45 am - 3:30 pm, and 2 weeks vacation (pro-rated on date of hire). The starting wage is $18.60.

In this role, you must be able to operate basic machinery, pick and pack customer orders, perform basic receiving and shipping functions, relocate products within the warehouse, and interact with the enterprise resource planning system (ERP) which is JBA. Flexibility in working hours and the ability to cover various warehouse areas (assembly and distribution) as assigned are also required.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Pick and pack products for shipment to customers and other Associated Spring Raymond locations.
2. Set up and operate machinery efficiently and safely.
3. Organize and move products to appropriate stocking locations.
4. Perform shipping functions.
5. Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
6. Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
7. Handle returned goods and customer issues promptly.
8. Restock orders and receipts from suppliers in a timely manner.
9. Interact with the JBA computer system to process warehouse transactions.
10. Print internal and customer labels as needed.
11. Perform all duties safely.
12. Perform other warehouse and office duties as assigned.
13. Adhere to Barnes Group Code of Ethics and Values.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in warehouse and/or manufacturing responsibilities.

Education Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED required.
