Job Summary

This position is responsible for performing various warehouse duties, such as sorting pallets, operating a forklift to load, unload, and receive materials, completing paperwork/data entry as well as collaborating with our customer.

  • Receiving, processing, labeling, and storing incoming pallets.
  • Sort and place materials and items according to organizational standards.
  • Maintaining precise records on all inventory.
  • Inspecting inventory for damage and/or PECO's quality specifications as well as maintaining records regarding pallet condition.
  • Organizing the warehouse space.
  • Preparing orders for shipment.
  • Recording exact arrival and departure times for shipments.
  • Operating stock management tools, for example, a forklift.
  • Counting stock and keeping inventory records.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education, Skills, and Experience
  • Graduation from an accredited high school or General Education Development (GED)
  • Good attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary.
  • Good understanding of machine mechanics and how to make minor repairs.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, move, and sort 65lb pallets repeatedly.
  • Standing for long periods.
  • Full range of motion required for reaching, bending, and lifting.
Work Conditions
  • Work is performed in a warehouse environment
  • Dust associated with pallet operations
  • Noise associated with pallet operations
  • Some inclement weather exposure for outdoor duties
