Warehouse Associate

Part-time Shift(s): MON, TUE, WED, THU, FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm

Up to 28 hours/week

OVERVIEW:

Embark on your journey as a Part-time Warehouse Associate, where you're at the heart of our operations. You'll handle the flow of products entering and leaving the facility and manage inventory for a leader in industrial distribution. This position is based at our branch located at 1309 Industrial Blvd, Marshalltown, IA 50158.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and maintain branch inventory
• Receive, pick, package, ship, and perform cycle counts of inventory
• Make local deliveries using a company vehicle as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Perform other duties to ensure branch success

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years or older due to job nature
• Possess a valid driver's license issued in the country of employment and meet driving record requirements
• Proficient in written and oral communication
• Proficient computer skills
• Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational, planning, and prioritizing skills
• Highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service oriented
• Attention to detail and a sense of urgency
• Ability to work independently and in a team

• Ability to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages weighing 25-50 lbs, up to 75 lbs
• Pass the required drug screening (applicable in US, Puerto Rico, Guam)
• Pass a sex offender registry check (required by contracted customers)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in receiving, shipping, sorting, or managing inventory
