SRS Distribution Inc. in Loxley, AL is seeking a Warehouse Associate to handle stock, packing, shipping, and customer support in a fast-paced warehouse.

This role requires forklift experience, warehouse and customer service experience, and basic computer/inventory system skills; candidates must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of forklift experience preferred.
• 1 year of warehouse experience preferred.
• 1 year of customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify, receive, and put away incoming stock.
• Pull, pack, stage, and ship outgoing orders and transfers.
• Assist customers with orders as needed.
• Assist customers in processing returns of warranty items and stock items.
• Operate handheld scanners to receive, move, and track inventory in and out of the facility.
• Assist management with inventory accuracy, including cycle counts and physical inventory.
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and common areas to ensure an orderly and safe work environment.
• Maintain all required certifications required by DOT, OSHA, and company safety programs.
• Participate in after-hours training classes.
• May be asked to participate in on-call duties, as needed.
• Work overtime as assigned.
• Work cooperatively with others.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain regular, punctual, and reliable physical attendance.

Job Purpose:

The purpose of the Warehouse Associate is to perform a variety of tasks efficiently, safely, and accurately to ensure customer service excellence.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
