Job description

The purpose of this job is to pack and pick customer orders.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

• Picks items accurately and in a timely manner.
• Packs and secures items using the provided packing materials.
• Locates and pulls items stored on multileveled racks in the warehouse, based on RF device instructions.
• Utilizes the High Jump computer system to ensure accuracy of all orders.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL MENTAL AND PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS

Mental Functions: Performs tasks independently, may involve technical support, design, analysis, and making recommendations. May exercise supervisory responsibilities occasionally. Work is under general supervision, with review for judgment and standards compliance.

Physical Functions:

Physical requirements include standing, walking, and lifting in a warehouse environment with moderate temperature changes. Minimal health hazards exist around forklifts.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Warehouse setting with moderate temperature variations. Minimal hazards related to forklift operation.

• Entry level; zero years of relevant experience.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
