Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Warehouse Associate to join our team! As the Warehouse Associate, you will handle various material handling duties such as receiving, loading/unloading, pulling/assembling customer orders, and inventory checks. This position involves the daily use of forklift and/or crane equipment.
Primary Objective
Perform a variety of material handling duties associated with the warehouse.
Primary Functions and Scope
Carry out warehouse duties including pulling/assembling customer orders, verifying outbound orders, conducting inventory stock checks, restocking and labeling vendor products, maintaining displays, moving and storing materials, and conducting daily cycle counts.
Handle receiving duties such as unloading inbound shipments, processing shipments, stocking materials, processing customer returns, and reporting damaged shipments for freight claims.
Maintain a clean and organized facility through sweeping, trash removal, restroom and general office maintenance.
Assist customers and prepare sales slips as needed.
Ensure a safe working environment by following all safety rules outlined in the Safety Program and reporting accidents or unsafe conditions to management.
Perform other related duties as required.
Experience and Knowledge Required
High School diploma or equivalent; Certified Forklift Operator
Crane forklift experience and 1+ years of warehouse experience preferred.
Basic math, organization, customer service skills, fluency in English, attention to detail, and safety awareness.
Other Pertinent Job Information
This role requires standing, using hands, reaching, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, balancing, talking, and hearing. You must be able to lift 15-30 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs at times, with team lifts for heavier or longer items. Vision requirements include close, peripheral, and focus adjustment.
