Job summary

BEST is seeking a Warehouse Associate to operate equipment and move products throughout the facility, under the supervision of the warehouse supervisor and leads. You will pull products for shipping, load and unload delivery trucks, and document inventory you handle, with strong emphasis on forklift use and safety.

In addition to forklift tasks, you will perform manual moves, use tape guns and pallet wrap, and label products correctly.

Qualifications

• Must have forklift experience and a valid forklift certification.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are a local family-owned business looking to hire a Warehouse Associate. Under the direction of the warehouse supervisor and/or departmental leads, you will be responsible for moving product throughout the warehouse, pulling product to prepare for shipping, loading and unloading delivery trucks and documenting all inventory that you handle. You must be a responsible individual with great experience in driving a forklift. The goal will be to ensure that material and products will always be in the right place at the right time to achieve maximum efficiency.

It is important to note that while operating a forklift may be a large portion of this position, you will also be expected to perform tasks manually. This could include moving large boxes from one location to another, using tools like tape guns and pallet wrap, and labeling product correctly.

It is also vital that all tasks regarding the product in the warehouse must be fulfilled using scan guns or receiving/packing stations.
