CAROLINA ATLANTIC ROOFING SUPPLY LLC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to handle general warehouse duties including inventory control, shipping/receiving documentation and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. You will operate forklifts and related equipment, support timekeeping, and participate in safety programs.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year warehouse and forklift experience, a strong attention to detail, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of warehouse and forklift experience.
• Must pass background, motor vehicle and drug tests.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Operates GPS, electric lift, hand trucks and pallet jacks safely.
• Team player with dependable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory rotations and prepare shipments; stage and verify incoming material; operate powered equipment.
• Load and unload goods to/from storage areas or vehicles in an organized manner.
• Notify managers of major maintenance issues encountered.
• Properly use Timekeeping App to ensure accurate time-management.
• Follow safe lifting practices and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Obtain and maintain forklift certification.

About this position

The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for general warehouse responsibilities to include inventory control, loss prevention, as well as shipping and receiving documentation. Must be detail-oriented, efficient, and have a clean driving record.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the rotation of inventory within the warehouse by preparing shipments, stage and verify incoming material, and use powered industrial equipment (forklift, hand-crane, pallet jack, shrink wrap machine, etc.)
• Load and unload goods to and from designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles in an organized and efficient manner
• Notify managers of any major maintenance issues encountered
• Properly use Timekeeping App to ensure appropriate and accurate time-management
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding and compliance with the company's safe lifting practices and standard operating procedures
• Ensure that all safety procedures remain a priority by maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Obtain and maintain forklift certification

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma/GED required
• MUST be a team player
• 1+ years of prior warehouse and forklift experience
• Must pass a background check, motor vehicle check, and drug test
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. at a time
• Able to operate GPS, an electric lift, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.
