HornerXpress First Coast, Inc. in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support efficient warehouse operations, pulling, preparing, staging, loading and unloading orders.

You will work closely with drivers, counter personnel and customers to ensure timely fulfillment while maintaining a safe warehouse environment. The role requires physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs, basic math, and a team-based attitude; forklift experience and 2 years in warehousing are a plus.

Reports to: Branch Manager

FLSA: Non-exempt

HOURS: Full-time (Mon - Fri)

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Associate supports efficient warehouse operations by accurately pulling, preparing, staging, loading, and unloading orders; organizing and replenishing inventory; and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. This role works closely with other warehouse staff, drivers, counter personnel, and customers to ensure timely order fulfillment and safe material handling while demonstrating teamwork, reliability, and commitment to company policies and values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quickly and accurately pull orders based on delivery schedule and demand
• Safely load and unload trucks
• Assist customers with loading products
• Inventory - count, organize, and maintain stock, inspect condition and quality, move and replenish as necessary
• Keep aisles clean of stock and debris
• Sweep warehouse floors daily and as needed
• Safely operate forklift and pallet jack
• Report mechanical problems and unsafe conditions to the Warehouse Manager
• Other duties as assigned

• 2 years of warehouse experience a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, grasp, and handle materials throughout the workday.
• Frequently required to lift, carry, push, and/or pull materials, with or without assistance, in the normal course of warehouse operations.
• Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 100 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation, and move heavier items with a hand cart of or other mechanical aids.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (such as forklifts and pallet jacks) safely.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions and maintain productivity standards in a warehouse environment.
• Vision, hearing, and communication abilities sufficient to perform job duties safely and effectively.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment that may include exposure to dust, temperature variations, and noise typical of distribution operations.
