Job summary

Desert Electric Supply, an affiliate of USESI, is seeking a Branch Warehouse Associate for its Indio, CA location to support receiving, storage, and distribution operations. You will help pick, stage, and prepare orders with accuracy and efficiency while using forklifts and related tools as needed.

Ideal candidates bring warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Prior warehouse experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in variable warehouse conditions.
• Strong attention to detail, basic math and reading skills.
• Comfortable with ladders, forklifts, and handling physical tasks.
• Team-oriented, dependable, and able to follow instructions clearly.
• Forklift experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and store incoming materials accurately.
• Pick, stage, and prepare orders for delivery or will-call with attention to detail.
• Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, cherry pickers, wire cutters) safely and efficiently.
• Perform cycle counts, inventory checks, and maintain warehouse cleanliness.
• Tag and label materials, process shipping documentation, and assist with returns or discrepancies.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Support general warehouse duties and contribute to a safe, organized work environment.
