Herff Jones is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our Indianapolis distribution center. Starting pay is $18.00 per hour. You will pick, pack, label, and prepare orders for shipment, receive and unload incoming materials, and track inventory using handheld scanners and warehouse software.

This role operates in a warehouse environment with possible temperature fluctuations. You must follow safety procedures, wear required PPE, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs while maintaining productivity and

Your Opportunity:

The Herff Jones Cap and Gown team, based in Indianapolis, Indiana, is looking for Warehouse Associates to join our team.

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

• Pick, pack, sort, label, and prepare orders for shipment
• Receive, unload, and put away incoming materials and products
• Accurately scan and track inventory using handheld scanners or warehouse systems
• Replenish inventory and move materials to designated work areas
• Verify products, quantities, and order information for accuracy
• Maintain productivity and quality standards throughout the shift
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
• Follow established warehouse procedures and safety requirements
• Report damaged products, inventory discrepancies, equipment issues, or safety concerns to a supervisor
• Assist in other warehouse areas as business needs require

Work Environment:

• Work is performed primarily in a warehouse/distribution environment
• May be exposed to varying temperatures, noise levels, dust, and moving equipment
• Must be able to work scheduled shifts and overtime as business needs require
• Must follow all established safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment

Physical Requirements:

• Daily activity includes but is not limited to lifting, carrying, sitting, grasping, reaching, standing, kneeling, walking, bending, twisting
• Reading, writing and math skills commensurate with job duties
• Working at a computer for extended periods of time
• Ability to regularly lift/move up to 50lbs
