Job summary

NABCO is hiring a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations in Houston, TX. The role emphasizes inventory organization, stocking, shipping and receiving, and safe forklift operation in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and capable of working both independently and with a team. On-site schedule runs Monday–Friday from 9:00am to 5:30pm with standard warehouse duties and a focus on accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations including inventory organization, stocking, shipping and receiving, forklift operation, and general warehouse maintenance. This role plays a key part in ensuring inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and timely movement of products throughout the warehouse.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and restock inventory in designated warehouse locations
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as required
• Wrap, package, and prepare inventory for shipment
• Assist with inventory movement and material handling throughout the warehouse
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
• Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing, and management teams to improve operational efficiency
• Maintain and care for warehouse tools and equipment
• Scrap and remove panels and materials as directed
• Support shipping, receiving, and inventory control activities
• Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned
• Perform other duties, tasks, or work as assigned

Education & Experience

• Warehouse experience preferred
• Forklift experience is a plus

Physical Demands

• Occasional sitting, reaching, working overhead, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
• Frequent walking
• Continuous standing and repetitive hand motion
• Frequent lifting and movement of materials throughout the workday
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and heavier items with proper equipment or team assistance

Compensation is based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

This position operates in a warehouse environment. Employees may work around forklifts, material handling equipment, inventory racks, and shipping/receiving operations. Proper safety procedures must be followed at all times. Closed-toe footwear is required.
