Job summary

Sunsrce is seeking a warehouse associate to support our warehouse operations in Honolulu. You will operate saws, hydraulic crimpers, and forklifts, handle hose and valve production, and manage shipping/receiving with major carriers. This role includes pulling orders, interfacing with customers, and occasional pick-up/delivery of materials.

The position requires basic math, attention to detail, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Shipping & receiving experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate saws, hydraulic crimpers, and forklifts.
• Basic math skills and accurate counting of inventory.
• Detail oriented with ability to identify discrepancies.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work with others.
• Proficient in using basic computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate Saws, Hydraulic Crimpers, and Forklift in daily tasks.
• Produce hoses and valves for orders.
• Ship and receive shipments from UPS and LTL carriers.
• Pull sales and production orders for fulfillment.
• Interface with customers during Will Calls.
• Pickup/Deliver material and parts as required.
• Organize and restock warehouse inventory.
• Keep warehouse clean and organized and report status to supervisor.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operates Saws, Hydraulic Crimpers, and Forklift operation
• Hose and valve production
• Ship and receive from various companies (primarily UPS &LTL)
• Pulling sales & production orders
• Customer interface (Will Calls)
• Pick-up/Deliver material & parts as required
• Organizes and restocks products in the warehouse
• Keeps warehouse clean and organized
• Updates supervisor on the status of inventory, shipments, and deliveries
• Operates forklift and other machinery needed to transport heavy items around the warehouse
• Detail oriented inventory counting
• Computer skills

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Workday is a standard 8 hours and is spent in a warehouse setting.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or GED is required

PREFERRED EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Forklift experience is desirable
• Warehouse Management Systems and other inventory management software experience are desirable
• Fluid power experience is desirable

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Talk, hear, stand, walk; reach with hands and arms; pushing and pulling
• Lift up to 50 lbs. and engage in assisted safe lifting of larger items
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time; climb or balance; kneel and crouch.
