Job summary

FloWorks in Pasadena, TX, is seeking a warehouse associate to coordinate shipping/receiving, unload/load trucks, prepare LTL shipments, and route materials to staging areas. The role requires being mechanically inclined and able to operate a forklift with certification a plus.

You will use Microsoft Office and other software to track communications with customers and carriers, maintain a tidy work area, follow safety policies, and prioritize work with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required. 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility
• Knowledge of typical warehouse equipment, machines and tools
• Forklift experience
• Material resource planning and/or production control experience with SAP
• Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems
• Valid drivers license

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities in the Shipping/Receiving Dock including unloading and loading semi-trucks, UPS and FedEx trucks
• Responsible for incoming and outgoing products and goods. Packaging and preparing LTL shipment and documentation
• Routing material to either staging or shipping areas
• Mechanically inclined
• Ability to work on Valve automation and Assembly with direct from the warehouse supervisor
• Must be experienced operating a forklift. Certification a plus
• Use Microsoft Office, Outlook, and additional software to track and communicate internally, as well as with Customers, Carriers and Suppliers
• Maintains condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.). Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same
• Attention to detail, highly organized, able to prioritize work

Work Environment

This role operates in a warehouse environment. Occasional visits to warehouses or operational sites may be required. Typically requires less than 10% travel.
