Job summary

Western Integrated Technologies (WIT), a SunSource company, is a leading fluid power distributor and manufacturer. We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our Honolulu, HI operations and support shipping, receiving, and material handling in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include operating saws, hydraulic crimpers, forklifts, stockage and restocking, pulling orders, and interfacing with customers for Will Calls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Shipping/receiving experience preferred.
• Forklift experience desirable.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform light mechanical tasks.
• Attention to detail and ability to count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Operate saws, hydraulic crimpers, and forklift.
• Hose and valve production.
• Ship and receive from UPS and other carriers.
• Pull sales and production orders.
• Customer interface for Will Calls.
• Pick up/deliver material and parts as required.
• Organizes and restocks products in the warehouse.
• Keeps warehouse clean and organized.
• Update supervisor on inventory, shipments, and deliveries.
• Operate forklift and other machinery to move heavy items.
• Inventory counting and accuracy.
• Computer skills for inventory management.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Operates Saws, Hydraulic Crimpers, and Forklift operation
• Hose and valve production
• Ship and receive from various companies (primarily UPS
• Pulling sales & production orders
• Customer interface (Will Calls)
• Pick-up/Deliver material & parts as required
• Organizes and restocks products in the warehouse
• Keeps warehouse clean and organized
• Updates supervisor on the status of inventory, shipments, and deliveries
• Operates forklift and other machinery needed to transport heavy items around the warehouse
• Detail oriented inventory counting
• Computer skills

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Workday is a standard 8 hours and is spent in a warehouse setting

Required Knowledge, Skill And Abilities

• Shipping & Receiving experience, desired
• Can safely operate Saws and Forklifts
• Basic mathematical skills
• Pays close attention to detail, a skill essential in identifying order discrepancies & product deficiencies
• Problem Solving skills required
• Able to lift 50+ pounds

Minimum Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is required

Preferred Education Requirements

• Forklift experience is desirable
• Warehouse Management Systems and other inventory management software experience are desirable
• Fluid power experience is desirable

Physical Requirements

• Talk, hear, stand, walk; reach with hands and arms; pushing and pulling
• Lift up to 50 lbs. and engage in assisted safe lifting of larger items
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time; climb or balance; kneel and crouch
