Warehouse Associate at Total Safety

Total Safety is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our safety-conscious team! In this role, you will be vital in processing customer orders, including receiving inbound shipments, stocking, and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment to enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and expedite shipments.
2. Determine shipment methods based on customer requirements.
3. Verify outgoing shipments against documentation.
4. Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse and equipment.
5. Follow labeling requirements for each customer.
6. Operate material handling equipment safely.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Role Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to operate forklift and cherry picker.
• Ability to read and interpret documents.
• Provide quality control for outbound orders.
• Pass background and drug/alcohol tests.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Previous warehouse experience.
• Clean driving record.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Essential Skills and Experience:

Additional Skills:

• Warehouse experience and knowledge of UPS Worldship/FedEx Manager are a plus.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Operate motorized machinery as needed.
• Exposure to weather conditions; noise level is usually minimal.
