Job description

Total Safety is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join their safety-conscious team! In this role, you will be an essential part of processing customer orders, including receiving inbound shipments, stocking items, and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment to enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and expedite shipments
2. Determine the best method and mode of shipment based on customer requirements
3. Verify outgoing shipments against documentation
4. Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse and equipment
5. Follow labeling requirements for each customer
6. Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently
7. Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to operate forklift and cherry picker
• Ability to read and interpret documents
• Provide quality control for outbound orders
• Pass background and drug/alcohol tests
• Clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Previous warehouse experience
• Knowledge of UPS Worldship and FedEx Manager

Physical and Environmental Conditions:

• Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, climb, and handle objects
• Operate machinery and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions with minimal noise levels
