Job summary

Gt is seeking an entry-level Warehouse Associate to efficiently order, receive, store, and account for parts and merchandise. You will process shipments, post freight to work orders, and help maintain an organized parts area.

You will support customer pickup, assist with showroom merchandising, and perform cycle counts while handling items up to 50 lbs. This role requires a High School diploma and comfort with basic office tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience connecting with customers and maintaining a professional image.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and internet applications.

Responsibilities

• Process sending and receiving parts shipments in a timely manner.
• Post freight to work orders or counter tickets for parts orders & transfers.
• Perform cycle counting and report discrepancies in inventory.
• Keep parts department clean and orderly.
• Ensure correct parts are delivered on time; contact customers for pickup and delivery as needed.
• Assist Supervisor with merchandising displays and restocking showroom inventory.
• Routinely lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Purpose:This entry level Warehouse position is responsible to properly order, receive, store and account for parts or merchandise.Key Responsibilities:Timely processing of sending and receiving of parts shipments (i.e. Customer & Stock Orders, Machine Down & Surplus Returns)Posts freight to work orders or counter tickets as needed for parts orders & transfersPerform cycle counting duties to ensure that all materials are properly verified to be reflective of reported inventory; report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged productsAssists in keeping parts department clean and orderlyMaking certain that the technician or customer receives the proper part on time as promised; call customers for parts pick up and delivers parts if necessaryAssists Supervisor with merchandising displays by re-stocking showroom inventoryRoutinely lifts items weighing up to 50 lbsAll other duties assignedExperience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:High School diploma or equivalent experienceExperience connecting with customers, maintain professional image, establish rapportDemonstrated basic understanding of the selling processesDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a degree of independence.Experience using standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet applications
