Job Description

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the movement of inventory/product within the assigned distribution center.

Key Responsibilities/Skills

• Responsible for complete and correct order fulfillment.
• Pull product from inventory locations and prepare for shipment in a timely manner.
• Assemble various types of merchandise for shipment.
• Wrap and efficiently stencil, tag or mark orders.
• Repack and weigh orders as required.
• Carry/transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Proficient forklift, cherry picker, and pallet jack experience.
• Conduct physical inventories.
• Unload containers.
• Move product/inventory to the appropriate staging areas in warehouse.
• Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area.
• Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
• Basic computer skills.
• Complete all required paperwork/notifications as indicated by workflow.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: Prior experience in a warehouse environment with forklift experience preferred.

• Operate heavy equipment (forklifts, pallet wrappers, etc.) with proper understanding of body mechanics.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, verbal).
• Proficiency with computers/data entry/scanning and accessing corporate information.
• Must be able to photocopy, fax and use the postage machine.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sustain long periods of standing and walking throughout the day.
• Ability to lift heavy items using proper safety equipment and assistance as per procedures.
• Ability to climb ladders.
