Immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Material Handler to support our Facility at Ryder in Grovetown, GA.

We seek the right Warehouse Associate to join us at Ryder and work in the safest supply chain environment with state-of-the-art equipment.

• Pay: $16.00 per hour and $0.50 shift differential
• Products handled: Tractor equipment, machinery, and parts
• Equipment used: Reach truck, sit-down forklift, and hand scanners

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid forklift operator's license
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels
• Dependable and thorough
• Punctual with good attendance
• Ability to perform work independently with minimal supervision
• High initiative and accuracy under pressure
• Ability to lift and push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Adherence to health and safety procedures
• Flexible schedule for various shifts

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Follow performance measurement guidelines
• Accurately pick and pack, audit, induce totes, stage products, and load/unload trucks
• Manage warehouse paperwork (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours
• Other duties as assigned
