Power Design is seeking a Warehouse Associate to receive, organize, pack, and ship building materials across our distribution network. You’ll work with scanners and WMS to keep operations accurate and on schedule.

This on-site role requires physical stamina and safety focus, with opportunities to learn PIT equipment and grow within a nationwide company. We value integrity and teamwork and offer a stable schedule and room for growth.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older and able to follow safety guidelines.
  • High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
  • Prior warehouse experience and forklift certification preferred but not required.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to read and interpret long part numbers.
  • Strong math skills (counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication).
  • Reliable transportation to work on time.

  • Non-smoker.

Responsabilités

  • Receive inbound materials by unloading trucks, inspecting items, correcting discrepancies, and labeling boxes.
  • Count, kit, and move material to designated locations; support production lines.
  • Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and transfers between projects.
  • Support shipping: pick items, stage pallets, weigh, wrap, and load shipments for on-time delivery.
  • Safely operate PIT equipment up to 40 feet with training provided.
  • Use handheld scanners/tablet to process tasks and photograph documentation.
  • Follow on-screen directions and troubleshoot issues; use Deposco WMS.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

About the position…

We’re lookin’ for a wizard in the warehouse to join our distribution center team! As a Warehouse Associate, you’ll work your magic to receive, organize, pack, and ship building materials in an accurate and timely manner. Our many construction jobsites across the country rely on the distribution center for the building materials they need to get the job done – making your role essential for meeting project timelines and budgets, and keeping our customers happy. Position details/responsibilities….
  • 3:00pm - 11:00pm schedule
  • Assist with receiving inbound materials by unloading trucks, inspecting material, resolving discrepancies, receiving items to purchase orders, labeling boxes, putting pallets away in their designated locations, and moving material to and from various production lines.
  • Provide inventory control by inspecting material for conformance to specs, cycle counting to ensure accurate inventory tracking, transferring material between projects, and kitting material to help keep jobsites organized and efficient.
  • Assist with shipping processes such as picking items, staging pallets by project, repalletizing to maximize efficiency, inspecting pallets for accurate contents, weighing/ measuring/ wrapping pallets, and loading shipments on carrier vehicles in prioritized order to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Safely operating power industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts, order pickers, electric pallet jacks, stackers, and scissor lifts at work heights up to 40 feet - equipment training and certification are provided free of cost.
  • Use handheld scanners and tablet computers to process tasks, read barcodes, and take photographs for documentation.
  • Follow on-screen directions and troubleshoot problems.
  • Utilize software such as Microsoft Outlook and Deposco Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Take pride in maintaining an exceptionally clean and organized warehouse.

You will also need to be able to:

  • Lift up to 49 pounds.
  • Push utility carts up to 60 pounds.
  • Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
  • Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around.
  • Go up and down stairs (where applicable).
  • Work at a height of up to 40 feet and/or on a mezzanine (where applicable).
  • Adhere to strict safety, quality, and fulfillment production standards.

  • Prior warehouse experience and a forklift certification preferred but not required.
