Power Design, Inc. is seeking a reliable Wire Production Associate to support our warehouse operations. You will prepare wire for shipment, measure to tight tolerances, and maintain accurate production logs while upholding safety standards.

Ready to electrify your career? We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Wire Production Associate to join our manufacturing and distribution operations! This team member will work in our fast-paced warehouse to efficiently and safely prepare wire for shipment to our jobsites, while maintaining excellent quality.
Safely operate powered take-up and wire processing equipment. Pull wire from large reels stored in racking systems. Accurately measure and cut wire to customer-specified lengths. Install and secure wire pulling heads as required. Package, label, and stage completed orders for shipment. Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to standards. Maintain production logs, inventory usage, and traceability records. Perform daily equipment checks and report maintenance or safety concerns. Uphold all Power Design policies, quality procedures, and OSHA safety standards. Assist in keeping work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Prior experience in wire processing, electrical distribution, or manufacturing preferred. Ability to read and interpret cut sheets, work orders, and technical specifications. Proficiency with measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, etc.) and basic math. Mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand/power tools. Forklift experience or certification a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, quality work. Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrate and uphold Power Design’s core values of integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation, and growth.
Lift and move up to 50 lbs. regularly; occasional lifts of up to 75 lbs. with assistance. Ability to push/pull heavy wire reels using material handling equipment. Standing, bending, reaching, and walking for extended periods. Manual dexterity for handling tools, heads, and packaging materials. Comfortable working in a warehouse/manufacturing setting (noise, heat, dust).
