Responsible, at various points, for loading, unloading, sorting, staging, transporting and otherwise handling products that come into and move out of the warehouse. Individuals in this position must work cooperatively with other Associates and productively with little supervision. Individuals must follow U.S. Lumber safety policies and procedures at all times.
Must have a high level of comprehension of, and be able to communicate in, the English language. Must be process oriented and able to take direction with the ability to think and act with a systematic and effective approach to analyzing situations and acting on good business solutions to problems. Must work with strong attention to detail and high motivation toward completing task completely, accurately and timely. Must be adaptable and flexible in order to change or adapt to changing work practices, priorities, procedures or conditions. Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks. Forklift skills with appropriate updated certification. Ability to meet the required schedule for work.
