KC Fixture & Display, Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate to handle shipping and receiving, maintain inventory accuracy, and support orderly storage. You will use WMS and scanning tech, operate forklift or obtain certification, and work OT as needed. The role requires lifting up to 60 pounds and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

You will stage shipments, verify packing lists, and collaborate with leads and management to meet deadlines while upholding quality standards.

Formación

• Experience in a warehouse is preferred.
• Experience driving a forklift or ability to become certified.
• Experience with a WMS and scanning technology.
• Ability to work overtime when required.
• Able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds individually.
• Ability to make repetitive movements including bending and squatting.

Responsabilidades

• Ship and receive products while checking for damages.
• Verify quantities and descriptions against packing lists and PO.
• Label and store inventory in an orderly manner and ensure stock accuracy.
• Stage material shipments or customer pickups.
• Use company software and paperwork to maintain inventory information.
• Use WMS to process orders and adjust for sequence changes.
• Operate hand tools and equipment as needed.
• Prepare materials for transit and pack securely.

Descripción del empleo

This position is responsible for shipping and receiving in the warehouse. The role will maintain safety, housekeeping, quality, customer service and productivity specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Shipping and receiving products while reviewing for damages
• Accurately verify quantity and descriptions of inventory received from packing lists and purchase order
• Accurately label and put away inventory in an orderly mannerEnsure all stock is properly stored
• Staging material shipments or customer pick up's
• Utilize company specific software and paperwork to maintain accurate inventory information
• Utilize warehouse management system (WMS) to process and follow order sequence and adjusting to sequence changes
• Utilize hand tools, mechanical equipment, and motorized equipment
• Packing materials securely for transit without damage
• Process small package and LTL shipments
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting processes
• Research and report inventory discrepancies
• Meet deadlines with attention to detail while following quality requirements
• Maintain a clean work environment and follow housekeeping requirements
• Follow company safety policies and procedures
• Work independently and as a team
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Maintain a professional manner
• Follow directions provided by Leads, Supervisors, and Management

Requirements

Qualifications/Skills:

• Experience in a warehouse preferred
