Our Warehouse team members are responsible for receiving materials in the warehouse, loading trucks, and processing inventory. This position will also serve as a Back‑up Delivery Driver.

Richards Building Supply is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our Frankfort, IL location.

Responsibilities

• Receiving materials in the warehouse.
• Loading and unloading trucks, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations on weight limits and securing loads.
• Moving items from receiving to designated areas.
• Maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to all safety policies, including wearing required harnesses and equipment.
• Working Monday through Friday with potential overtime during the busy season.
• Lifting 50–100 lbs. of material throughout the day; occasional lifts over 100 lbs.
• Serving as a backup delivery driver when needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Forklift experience required.
• Exterior building material knowledge helpful.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and work a full shift.
• Ability to communicate with co‑workers, vendors, and customers (verbal and written).
• Positive attitude and team‑player mindset.
• Commitment to adhering to all safety policies, including wearing a safety harness and other required equipment.
