Warehouse Associate

Location: VALYN Public Store

Part-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm

Hours: 10 - 28 hours/week

Overview

Embark on your journey as a Part-time Warehouse Associate, playing a vital role in our operations. You will handle the flow of products entering and leaving the facility and engage in inventory management for a leader in industrial distribution. The position is based at our branch located at 2105 Graves Mill Rd, Forest, VA 24551. After onboarding and training, and upon meeting performance goals, flexible scheduling may be available.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain branch inventory
• Receive, pick, package, ship, and conduct cycle counts of inventory
• Make local deliveries using a company vehicle as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Perform additional duties to support branch success

Required Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older due to job nature
• Valid driver’s license issued in the country of employment, with a clean driving record
• Proficient in written and oral communication
• Computer literacy
• Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational, planning, and prioritizing skills
• Motivated, self-directed, and customer service-oriented
• Attention to detail with a sense of urgency
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages weighing 25-50 lbs, up to 75 lbs
• Pass a drug screening (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam)
