Job summary

MIDSCI is seeking a full-time Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our team in Missouri. The role involves working with major carriers, using handheld devices to process orders, and lifting and packing goods.

A forklift certification is preferred and a strong team mindset is essential. The position runs Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm and includes a comprehensive benefits package such as health insurance, a 401(k) plan, profit sharing, paid vacation, personal time, and paid

Responsibilities

• Handle shipping and receiving tasks and coordinate with major carriers (FedEx, UPS, DHL).
• Use handheld devices to process orders, scan barcodes, and track inventory.
• Label, stock, and maintain organized warehouse areas; assist with routine maintenance.

MIDSCI is currently seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a full-time Shipping and Receiving Associate. This role includes working with major carriers such as FedEx, UPS, DHL and regional logistics providers. Using handheld devices, lifting, picking and packing orders, receiving products, labeling and stocking, routine maintenance and occasional inventory.

Requirements

The ideal candidate must be able to lift up to 50lbs. and be willing to be forklift certified. Strong communication skills are essential, along with a willingness to learn all aspects of the warehouse operations. Candidates should be detail-oriented, able to follow instructions accurately, and capable of working both independently and as a team. Adherence to company policies and a positive proactive attitude are required. Experience with barcoding systems and hand-held scanning devices is a plus. Possessing a class E drivers license would be a plus (back-up driver), but it is not required.
