Job summary

Atlanta Flooring Design Centers Inc in Durham, NC is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to protect inventory and support receiving, loading, and unloading of materials. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year in a warehouse, physical stamina, and forklift certification (or willingness to obtain our internal certification).

Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. You will follow safety policies, move goods with a forklift, and may occasionally drive a company vehicle

Responsibilities

• L O A D S and unload goods and supplies, ensuring proper handling at all times.
• Move goods within the warehouse using a forklift as required.

• Occasionally make deliveries or pick up materials using company vehicle.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

The Warehouse Associate helps protect inventory, receives, loads, and unloads materials. He or she must appropriately handle all materials following company policies and procedures to ensure a safe workplace and may need to drive a company vehicle occasionally.The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience in a warehouse environment. In addition, he or she must have the strength and stamina to perform the duties of this position (standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, etc.) and must have a forklift certification (or is willing to obtain our internal certification). Effective oral and written skills, good time management skills, speech, and behavior are all required for this position. Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus but not required to be considered.
