The JF Petroleum Group, a premier provider in fueling infrastructure, is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Des Plaines, IL to support receiving, stock keeping, and shipping of parts for fuel pumping applications. This first shift role offers overtime potential and a 35,000 square foot facility.

Responsibilities include picking, packing, shipping, cycle counting, and inventory control, with safety as a core priority. Competitive benefits and opportunities for training accompany a steady schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with cycle counting, forklift operation, shipping and receiving.
• Strong attendance history and punctuality.
• Ability to pass drug screen, background check, and MVR if driving.
• Physical: lift up to 50 pounds, stand 8-10 hours daily.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer orders by processing receipts, picking, packing and shipping parts.
• Ensure orders meet quality standards, correct part, correct quantity, shipped on time.
• Ship parts via UPS, LTL, and dedicated trucks.
• Operate forklift safely (Sit Down, Standup Reach).
• Participate in annual physical inventory and daily cycle counting.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by DC Manager or DC Supervisor.

Description

The JF Petroleum Group stands as a premier leader in the North American fueling infrastructure industry, offering comprehensive turn-key solutions for distribution, construction, and service needs. We serve a diverse clientele including retail fueling stations, commercial and government fleets, and emergency power customers. Pay starts at $18/hr, dependent on experience.

Safely perform receiving, stock keeping, inventory cycle counting, picking, packing and shipment of parts that service fuel pumping applications. The warehouse is 35,000 square feet and runs first shift only, some overtime is to be expected of this role.

Job Duties

• Prepare customer orders by processing receipts, picking, packing and shipping parts.


• Ensures all customer orders meet quality standards, correct part, correct quantity, shipped to correct address, on time, every time.


• Ship parts through parcel carriers (UPS) as well as Less Than Truck load and Dedicated trucks.


• Safely operate mobile equipment, Sit Down Fork Truck, Standup Reach Truck, Order picker (full time associates).


• Participate in annual physical inventory, perform daily cycle counting activities.


• Follow all safety procedures per company policy, identify and solution any unsafe practices to ensure all employees operate in a safe environment.


• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, lift 40 pounds, wear safety toe shoes, for 8 working hours per day.


• Perform any other task assigned by DC Manager or DC Supervisor.

Requirements

• Highschool Diploma or GED required


• General knowledge of warehouse and inventory control systems


• Experience with cycle count activities, forklift operation, shipping and receiving


• Punctual with strong attendance history


• Must be able to meet company’s employment requirements, which includes passing a drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR, if driving for the company


• Physical Requirements: Ability to repetitively lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 pounds, frequent bending, stooping, standing 8-10 hours per day.
